2013 Clerk Of The Year – Cheryl Spade

Cheryl Spade

Cheryl has worked for the Saline County District court – Benton Department for 18 Years. She has served her court as the Chief Court Clerk for 7 years. She is currently serving under Judge Mike Robinson, who nominated her for this honor for being an excellent role model for those that work for her and around her. Judge Robinson wants to recognize Cheryl for her dedication and innovation as well as her ability to be inspiring to others. Cheryl’s staff also submitted nominations in support of her as Clerk of the Year for her strong work ethic and leadership.

Cheryl earned her certification in 1999 and has received 11 (18 hour) updates. She has attended a National Association for Court Management program and has even taught several programs at our annual conferences. Cheryl has been an active member in the Association for the past 8 years. She served on the Executive Board as an At-Large Rep 2 years, 2nd District Representative for 2 years, Secretary for 2 years and President for 2 years. She has also served on various committees.
